Las Vegas’ Lucky Dragon Casino Officially Opens its Doors
On Saturday the newest casino in Las Vegas officially opened its doors. The Lucky Dragon is the first casino to be built in town from the ground up since the Cosmopolitan was completed six years ago.
It took five years from conception to completion for the hotel and casino to be built and the Asian themed casino resort opened its doors for a preview on Saturday. The resort includes 203 hotel rooms and a casino floor with close to 300 slot machines and more than 30 table games.
The COO of the casino said that they didn’t want to be a caricature of an Asian resort but wanted to attract locals and Asian tourists looking for an authentic cultural experience. Every detail of the casino tries to take this into account including the signs which are first in Chinese and then English.
