IGT Signs Deal with New Asian Themed Vegas Casino

The gaming supplier International Game Technology (IGT) has signed a deal to provide its casino management system to the Lucky Dragon Hotel and Casino, a new casino which is aimed at Asian visitors that is due to open in Las Vegas later in the year.

The company will be providing a suite of management solutions including its latest Advantage system with marketing, player communication as well as floor, media, service and table management applications. The casino will also be able to monitor its gaming systems using IGT’s SystemWatch product.

It will be the first time in Las Vegas that IGT’s Lucky Chip will offer a progressive bonus to table games as one of six bonuses that will be available at the casino.

Furthermore, it will also be North America’s first casino to offer IGT rebates and commissions to VIP table game players, a concept popular in Asia’s casinos. IGT will also be providing 12 Dynasty electronic table games offering baccarat and roulette.

The Lucky Dragon Casino will be opening on December 3rd at the north end of the famous strip. It will feature a nine-story hotel with 203 rooms and 27,500 square feet of casino space. The emphasis will be on games popular with Asian players such as baccarat and Pai Gow. It will also offer a high limit gaming area called the Emerald Room and a VIP gaming parlour.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy a tea garden featuring the city’s only tea sommelier as well as five Asian inspired restaurant concepts and signs designed to accommodate guests that speak Asian languages.
