William Hill Integrates With Betfect Social Betting Network
The UK based technology start-up Betfect has announced the launch of William Hill on its sports betting social network.
The social network initially went live with a beta version back in October 2014 and last year Betfect launched a full website with the bookmaker Ladbrokes as its first major partner.
The site allows users to share and test their betting tips with other members and as well as use any existing online betting accounts they have to place, share and copy bets.
Members of the site are able to manage their accounts at multiple bookmakers directly through Betfect and the platform allows users to carry out the entire betting process from signing up to a new bookmaker through to depositing and withdrawing.
Alex Rutherford, the head of product innovation at William Hill, said that it was a great idea to create a social network for the sports betting community which allowed punters to stay connected and use the bookmaker’s services.
He went on to say that the company is “delighted to boost innovation by helping and supporting startups like Betfect to increase the level of engagement amongst our customers and to bring new ideas to market.”
The founder of Betfect Giacomo Alpago said that they are pleased to be the first social sports betting application to integrate with both Ladbrokes and William Hill and as a result bring their users an enhanced betting experience.
He said that it is a “major coup” for the company having bookmakers such as William Hill work with them and help to innovate the sector to give punters the best possible betting experience.
