New iGaming Summit at G2E Asia in Macau

The eighth annual event of the Global Gaming Expo Asia (G2E Asia) will take place from the 20th to the 22nd of May at The Venetian Macau.

This event is the international gaming trade show and conference for the Asian gaming industry and it is organized by the AGA (American Gaming Association).

This year though, a new iGaming Summit will be featured enabling industry leaders to take part such as Pansy Ho who is the executive director and co-chairperson of MGM China as well as a keynote speaker at this event.

This iGaming Summit aims to highlight the importance of interactive social and mobile gaming both locally and internationally. It will be a one-day program which focuses on a range of topics such as ‘Know the Rules: State of iGaming Regulation in Asia’, ‘Football Fever: 2014 World Cup Strategies for Operators and Regulators’, ‘Money or Commodities: Considering Bitcoin and Other Virtual Currencies’ and many other relevant topics.

The focus of the 3-day G2E Asia conference includes updates in the gaming industry from both existing and emerging markets in the region including Russia, Vietnam, Cambodia and others. This event also covers a wide range of topics such as the latest slots machines, Chinese consumer trends, resort models and much more.

Other keynote speakers expected at this exciting event include Gamal Aziz, the president of Wynn Macau, Grant Chum, senior vice president of global gaming strategy at Sands Corporation, Kelvin Tam, chief of international marketing and executive VP of Melco Crown Entertainment among others.

The Gaming Management Certificate Program is also an important part of G2E Asia. This full-day program, which is sponsored by the University of Macau and the International Gaming Institute at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, aims at providing mid-level and new casino managers with the necessary tools and information in order to advance their careers.
