Hard Rock Rocksino Prepares for Grand Opening

The newest gaming venue in northeast Ohio is almost ready to open. The Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park is due to open on December 18th and is hoping to attract a crowd looking for good music, food and gambling.

The complex cost $268 million and is almost ready for its debut. Rock memorabilia display cases throughout the 200,000 square foot building are packed with guitars and costumes. There are 750 members of staff being trained and technicians are busy completing their final checks.

President Jon Lucas said, “This facility is spectacular – comfortable and contemporary.” Lucas went on to say that aside from the new building, the entertainment at the Rocksino will make it stand out. There is a 2,000 seat concert venue and it has already booked a number of acts including Joan Jett.

Local music acts will be able to perform in the 250-seat Hard Rock Café and Centre Bar and by early February a 320 seat comedy club will open.
While there are no table games at the Rocksino, there are three heated outdoor patios with slot machines to allow people to smoke and gamble at the same time.
