The Osage Nation Assistant Principal Chief, Scott BigHorse, said, “The nation is thrilled to be celebrating the opening of Osage Casino-Skiatook. It not only benefits the nation, it positively impacts the Skiatook community.”

The mayor of Skiatook, Randy Sien, has said that the upgraded casino should help boost the town’s economy, “The city of Skiatook is proud to have this great new facility in our community. Not only is it a great venue, it is great for the economic stability of Skiatook.”
