Osage Nation Opens Upgraded Skiatook Casino

Earlier this week Osage Nation leaders opened the doors to the tribe’s latest casino upgrade, the Osage Casino Hotel in Skiatook. The upgrade to the casino saw the construction of a new gaming area, a 33 room three story hotel, fitness centre, swimming pool, and convention space.

The casino has undergone an upgrade which saw the construction of a new gaming area, hotel and many more facilities.
The mayor of Skiatook, Randy Sien, has said that the upgraded casino should help boost the town’s economy, “The city of Skiatook is proud to have this great new facility in our community. Not only is it a great venue, it is great for the economic stability of Skiatook.”
Furthermore, the casino currently employs 54 people but the tribe hopes to create an additional 125 jobs in the near future.
The Osage Nation owns and operates a total of seven casinos. At present the Nation is in the process of upgrading and reopening each of the casinos at an estimated cost of about $60 million.
