Full Tilt Poker Reimbursements to be Complete by March 2014

The Garden City Group has said that it will complete reimbursing US Full Tilt Poker players by March next year.

Players have been unable to access their money since April 2011 and it has taken until now for the Justice Department to make the funds available. An agreement between Full Tilt Poker, PokerStars and the US government resulted in PokerStars paying $731 million to take over FTP with $150 million set aside for US players.
This week the Garden City Group released a statement on its website which read, “We are in the process of reviewing petitions filed by petitioners who confirmed their balances online and who have not disputed their FTP Account Balance or submitted multiple Petitions. We expect payments to be made with respect to such petitions with confirmed balances by March 31, 2014.”

Players were only given eight weeks in which to make claims and the deadline for these claims was last Saturday.

In further good news, last week it was confirmed by the Poker Players Alliance that former Red Pros of Full Tilt Poker will be able to file a claim for their funds. In the past it was said that they would not be eligible for reimbursement.
