NetPlay TV Announced 19% Revenue Growth

The interactive gaming company NetPlay TV announced earlier this week that revenues have gone up 19% in the third quarter this year. The increase was attributed to increasing use of mobiles and tablets to play its casino games.
The company announced that revenues were £6.5 million in the three months to end September, up from £5.4 million for the same period last year. It was reported that mobile and tablet contribution more than doubled and accounted for 40% of all new depositing casino players and 32% of net revenue, up from 14% a year ago.In the report the company disclosed that new depositing casino players rose 30% to 15,566 from 11,978 a year earlier, a 4% increase on the second quarter. The number of active depositing casino players also grew by 29% to 28,890 up from 22,417 a year earlier, a 2% increase on the second quarter.
Interestingly, the revenue increased despite the hot weather in July which reportedly reduced the total number of players. The company’s shares rose 5% to 17.725p shortly after the announcement.
