Bally’s Atlantic City Announces $5.6 Million Renovation
Bally’s Atlantic City has announced a massive renovation plan which is estimated to cost the casino around $5.6 million. Despite the large scale of the work, it is thought that renovations will take just four months to complete and work is due to start immediately.
Planned changes to the casino include a new casino floor layout, new carpets and walkways, new chairs at table games and slots and colour coded slot locations.
Kevin Ortzman, the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Bally’s, Caesars, and Showboat Atlantic City, said, “We’re creating a whole new look and feel to our casino floor at Bally’s.
These renovations will provide us with the opportunity to elevate our guests’ entire experience to unprecedented levels.”
An internal team from Bally’s designed concepts for the casino floor layout and architecture specifics were designed by the Las Vegas based Friedmutter Group.
It is the first major renovation for the casino since 2008 when Bally spent around $60 million on remodelling work for the rooms in Dennis Tower. The current round of work will take place in three phases and be completed in February 2014.
