888 Announces 7% Rise in Revenues

888 saw its revenue rise 7% in the first half of this year compared to the same period last year.

In the first six months of 2013 888’s sales grew to $200.1 million, up from $186.4 million in the same period last year.

888’s CEO, Brian Mattingley, said that the strong sales were the result of the company’s casino and poker products as well as strong growth in the mobile sector.

Mattingley said, “Record revenue for the first half has been driven by the continued strength of our core casino and poker products and our ability to maximize revenue through our exceptional platforms and best-in-class marketing systems.”

Mattingley went on to say that 17% of 888’s UK wagers are placed on mobile devices and he homes that the company’s UK mobile share will double in the next year and a half. 888 is continually improving its mobile poker product and recently updated its mobile app to give full access to its range of tournaments available on the desktop client.
