South Point Casino to Re-Brand Online Poker Offering

At some point it looked as if South Point Hotel Casino and Spa was going to be the first legal online poker operator in the state of Nevada.
However, Ultimate Poker, an offshoot of Station Casinos, beat them to it and now it has been reported that South Point is re-branding its online gambling product as “Real Gaming”.
It is not known if the change in name is in preparation of offering games other than poker and a so far there has been no comment from South Point.
South Point received the first internet gaming license in the state after online poker became legal in Nevada in 2011.
At present the casino offers a free-play product under the brand of South Point Poker. It is not yet known if this will be phased out when real-money gaming begins or whether it will remain in order to allow players from other states to play legally.
South Points software is provided by Zen Entertainment, at present the technology is undergoing testing by Nevada regulators and an independent testing lab.
