Bwin.party Selects GeoComply for Geolocation Services

Bwin.party has chosen GeoComply to provide geolocation services to both PC and mobile phone users in the US. The move comes ahead of the company going live with online poker services in Atlantic City later this year.
GeoComply holds a Class III license in Nevada which allows them to offer geolocation services to online poker providers in the state, the company has applied for a similar license in New Jersey.
The geolocation services will be used to determine the geographical location of players at the online casinos. This will ensure that only players within state boundaries will be able to access the casino’s services.
In a press release bwin.party said that it chose GeoComply because of its “ability to deliver on the high standards of compliance required by regulators in the United States.”
The CEO of GeoComply USA, Anna Sainsbury, said, “We are thrilled to have won this tender and to now be working with bwin.party in such an exciting new market. As a specialist company focused on the iGaming space, we are very much looking forward to assisting bwin.party in delivering to the gold standard of iGaming compliance in geolocation technologies.”
