Atlantic City Online Gambling Worth Up to $462 Million per Year

A new report from GamblingData says that Atlantic City casinos could generate up to $262 million in gross gambling yield during the first full year of regulation in New Jersey.

A new report from GamblingData predicts that Atlantic City will be raising $462 million per year in four years’ time
This is forecast to rise to $462 million per year during the fourth year of regulation.
Once regulation is in place casinos will be able to offer online casino games and poker, the report estimates that between 50% and 60% of the gross gambling yield will be a result of online casino games and online poker will make up the rest. It is thought that online casino earnings will grow steadily over the four years, while online poker earnings will quickly increase over the first two years and then remain steady in years three and four.
Daniel Stone, the head of content at GamblingData said, “The disparate ramp-up rates we expect in online casino GGY and online poker GGY reflect what we’ve seen in data from the Italian online gaming market, which we used to inform our forecasts. While we expect Atlantic City casinos to steadily capture new online casino customers over the first four years of regulation, we believe the casinos will attract new online poker customers mainly in the first two years of regulation,” Stone added.
