Huge Jackpot Wins and New Chairman for Microgaming

It has been an exciting week for Microgaming. First off the Microgaming Poker Network has announced that Dominic Harrison is the new chairman of the Network Management Board. The Board is responsible for the development of strategies and rules for the network and is made up of a collection of operators and network representatives.

Not only has this week seen two huge jackpot wins at Microgaming casinos, but they have also announced a new Chairman of the Network Management Board

Harrison is the former CEO of Gala Coral and said that the Microgaming project was one that he “had to be involved in.” He said that the Network Management Board is “exactly what the industry needs” and he is extremely excited about being a part of it. It has been claimed by Microgaming that so far the Network Management Board has boosted player values by 15 percent.

In other news from Microgaming this week, players at two of their casinos have won multi-million pound jackpots. Both jackpots were won on games linked to the Microgaming Progressive Jackpot Network and are worth a combined £3 million.

One player was playing at the playing at the Platinum Play online casino, the player who has been identified only as a British woman said she was stunned as she had only been a member of the casino for 10 days. She won a massive £1.9 million and is planning a trip to Las Vegas followed by Nepal or China with her winnings. She also intends to donate some of her money to a charity that helps abandoned animals.

The second winner was playing at the Spin Palace Casino and took home a £1.3 million. Amazingly he had only been a member of the casino for 3 days when he won the jackpot.
