Playtech Goes from Strength to Strength

This week it was announced that Playtech has bought the company Ash Gaming which develop interactive gambling and betting games. In total Playtech will pay £23 million for the acquisition.

This week Playtech bought the gaming company Ash Gaming and saw another online operator choose to adopt the Playtech platform.

Playtech have said that they believe the purchase will lead to greater revenue and a wider distribution of their games across the globe.

The CEO of Playtech, Mor Weizer, said that the company is “demonstrating significant growth and we expect this to continue.” He said that Ash Gaming continually delivers great content which operators are keen to see on their sites and the acquisition means that Playtech are able to offer a more varied portfolio which will enhance player experience and therefore maximise “player loyalty and player value.”

Weizer went on to say that he sees the purchase “as complementing our strategic actions by ensuring class leading content alongside our leadership in technology.” He believes that Ash Gaming’s content is “set to gain considerable traction” across newly regulated markets in Europe and other areas such as Canada.

The news comes at the same time as the Irish bookmakers Boyle Sport has launched the Boyle Online Casino built on the Playtech platform.
