Leading Gaming Firm, Betclic, Receives eCOGRA Approval

The leading gaming company, Betclic, had a great deal to celebrate this month after receiving official eCOGRA approval. The world renowned casino, poker and sports betting firm has been officially recognised by the revered standards and player protection group – a move which will secure the company’s reputation as one of the top and most reliable gambling destinations for consumers. The approval, which has already inspired tremendous enthusiasm amongst members of the gaming community, will allow the company to display the eCOGRA seal on its websites – a sign that the group retains a strong commitment to fair gaming and the interests of customer security. Betclic will now join some 150 existing top sites which already boast the watchdog badge of approval.

Betclic will now be able to display the eCOGRA seal on its website following approval from the player protection organisation.

The accreditation process, which was performed by eCOGRA’s Chartered Accountant and Information Systems Officer, involved a lengthy investigative review conducted over the course of several weeks.

The inspection required “the cooperation and dedication of the Betclic compliance personnel accompanied by unrestricted access to knowledgeable staff and transparent information”, revealed one representative. The organisation can now be expected to undergo regular reviews in a bid to ensure the ongoing maintenance of high standards.

Commenting on the recent events, Betclic’s Licensing and Compliance Director, Lisa Lombardi, revealed the challenges posed by the accreditation process. She said that the rigorous assessment had given the firm the “opportunity to review all our procedures” whilst reaping the benefits of “a total independent, practical and expert view”. “We consider the investment in time and resources to have been very well spent,” she concluded in a statement.
