Airline Company Announces Partnership with Online Casino

The online casino industry is ready to fly, or so it seems after the European airline company Ryanair announced an online gaming partnership with a well known online gambling site. The Dublin-based company, who’s considered Europe’s largest no-frills airline, is also one of the fastest growing airline companies in the world. According to the deal, the carrier will now offer its passenger the option to play “Ryanair Bingo” as well as other online casino games. Although right now the customers will be able to play only at the company’s web site, the main plan is to incorporate this service to all of the carrier’s flights.

At the beginning more than 80 games will be available to play, with an option to increase that number in the future. Ryanair’s chief executive, Michael O’Leary recently spoke about the partnership in a news conference, saying that he hopes that the on-board service will be available by mid-2007. O’Leary didn’t give any prediction concerning the possible revenues from the partnership with the online casino, but he did mention that the company’s plan is to increase their revenues from supplementary services by 20 percent in the next five years

As of this moment, those services make up for a fifth of the airline’s total revenue, but Ryanair considers the online casino games as an excellent way to increase their profits from those complementary services. As a special offer for the first week, all the bingo and instant win customers will receive a “free flight”. It still may take some time, and a lot of work has to be done before, but the online casino industry is all to ready to fly high.
