Forbes List Graced with Online Casinos Party Poker Founders

Everyone knows that when you make the Forbes magazine list of the wealthiest people in America, you’ve hit it big. Recently, the two founders of Party Poker online casinos company, J. Russell DeLeon and Ruth Parasol made the Forbes 400 list. They tied for 197th on the list, with an estimated net worth of US 1.8 billion dollars each. The online casinos company is the world’s largest online casinos site in terms of number of players and revenue.

Beginning in 1997 with the launch of their first online casinos site – Starluck Casino – the two began their online gambling endeavor. The following year they met Anurag Dikshit, who began writing the multiplayer online casinos poker software that became Party Poker upon its launch in 2001. The Party Poker network currently has more than 1.2 million active online gambling players.

DeLeon and Parasol became billionaires in 2005 when Party Gaming went public on the London Stock Exchange. They opened their online casinos operations in Gibraltar, where many online casinos operators are stationed. The IPO was the largest in London since 2001 and valued the company at about US 9 billion dollars. Today DeLeon and Parasol serve as advisors to Party Gaming. From an uncertain beginning in the world of online casinos to becoming leaders in the field, both financially and professionally, DeLeon and Parasol have become two names that the world’s wealthiest now know well. What lies in the future for these two will hopefully be as full of success as the past few years have proven to be.
