Chinese Get to Enjoy Online Casino Gambling Thanks to Myanmar Warlord

Published on September 5, 2006 by admin   ·   No Comments

Who said that online casino gambling is not worth fighting for? A Myanmar-based warlord is so determined to bring the online casino industry to China that he is willing to take on the Chinese authorities by force to do so. Many online casino companies are convinced that the largest untapped market in the gambling world is undoubtedly China’s. The sheer number of citizens and a growing interest in the internet makes China a focus of interest for online casino sites.

The Chinese government thinks otherwise, of course, and is determined to do anything in its power to prevent its citizens from playing at online casino sites. However, determination is sometimes not enough and the authorities seem to have met their match in plucky Myanmar warlord, Lin Minxian. Minxian has established his online casino headquarters in an ex-gambling Chinese town, Mong La in Special Region 4.

While this town used to be a popular destination for Chinese gamblers, the authorities have since shut down any gambling operations. Minxian, however, is determined to bring online casino gambling to the masses and has begun an aggressive expansion of facilities in and around the town. Using the backup of 300 dedicated militiamen, Minxian is keeping the Chinese troops at bay as they try to ruin his plans of creating a self-made online casino industry out of the jungles of the region.
