New Online Casino to Open in Antigua

There are several places around the world that allow online casino operators to run their business from their soil such as the Caribbean, Malta and a handful of other countries such as Gibraltar. Although it remains illegal to operate an online casino in Western Europe and the US, many players come from these countries.
Antigua already has 14 online casino operators active on its soil and there are plans to add about 10 more in the coming year. The finance minister believes that it will be a beneficial move for the small Caribbean island’s economy. The online casino operators are expected to create about 500 new jobs not to mention needed tax revenue that will go back into Antigua.
The online casino business is always looking for countries around the world to operate in. Right now the US has a strict ban on the online casino operators and they are not allowed to operate from its soil. The US has also put pressure on countries like Antigua and other countries around the world that allow online casinos to operate on their soil.
