A new deal has been signed between William Hill and ESPN Goals which will allow players to access live odds and betting action via a free football app.
ESPN Goals is a free app that provides users with video clips of all goals scored in the Premier League.
From next month the app will now include a ‘bet now’ button which will import odds from William Hill and allow users to bet in real time on matches. Players will have a one-touch betting option which will allow them to place bets without having to leave the app.
The app is available for nearly all mobile devices including Android, Apple, Blackberry, and Windows phones.
Users of the app can access live scores, video highlights and footage of every single goal in the premier league within minutes of them taking place.
The deal is especially good for William Hill as the exclusive agreement means that they will be the only bookmakers which appear in the app. Furthermore, they will also be promoted through display banner ads and video ads.
Alan Fagan, the Group Sales Director EMEA at ESPN said that “This new partnership demonstrates our ability to offer brands integrated, innovative and relevant advertising solutions, connecting them with football fans on whichever device is relevant.”
