Online Casino Software Provider Goes Live

Published on November 13, 2006 by admin   ·   No Comments

Looking to boost their grip in Asia, the popular online casino software provider Microgaming, has added a “live-over-the-Internet” dimension to its wide range of online casino gambling software products, giving its licensee operators an additional option for players. New and improved products from Microgaming are something that players are starting to receive on a regular basis and are growing accustomed to, and this week’s launch of the Live Dealer software will certainly give the company a push in the right direction in its attempt to wow the Asian market.

The software is available around the clock and the main idea is to simulate a land based casino environment. Connecting to the new software you will witness the dealer dealing the card, which immediately will be identified by a sensor with the physical card being placed on the dealer’s table and an icon of the card being displayed on the player’s screen.

Although the software is available only for Baccarat at this stage, Microgaming is expected to release software for Roulette, Sic Bo, Fan Tan and many more games. No separate account is needed, since the software uses the players’ casino account. Multi-currency is also supported, so players can play in a currency of their choice. The software is currently available in English, simplified Chinese and Japanese, and can be found on Microgaming powered platforms.
