Breaking News: Will Bolt Win Gold in Tonight’s 100 Meter Sprint

The two top contenders for the gold are Usain Bolt and Yohan Blake

Tonight is the big night for athletics. At 9:50pm London time, the men’s 100 meter sprint finals will take place.

The two top contenders for the gold are (obviously) Usain Bolt and Yohan Blake. Blake is to Bolt as Lochte is to Phelps – a worthy competitor and friend on his team who pushes Bolt to run even harder.

The two sprinters aren’t the only good thing happening to Jamaica in London. Last night, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce won her second consecutive Olympic gold in the women’s 100 meters. Her teammate Veronica Campbell-Brown won the bronze.

Not bad for an island of 3 million. Jamaica’s 50th Independence Day is Monday. It looks like they’ll have a lot to celebrate this time.
