California Judge Rules on Casino and Lottery Laws

The online casino industry is experiencing a surge in popularity, and because of this growth factor, other forms of gambling are also becoming trendy. Although a ruling has yet to be decided and announced by Superior Court Judge Lloyd Connelly, the residing judge over this case, it seems that the case is far from settled.

Both the lawsuit filed by Californians Against Gambling Expansion, and the Schwarzenegger administration’s pitch for the implementation of the Mega Millions Lotto in California, were addressed during the law hearing. With the attorney general’s office and the Legislative Counsel’s Office disagreeing on the legality of the game, it is easy to see why another court date has been set for March. Californians will have to wait patiently to see if they, too, will be able to participate and gamble in the Mega Millions Lotto. It may not be an online casino site, or possess the fun and excitement of playing at an online casino, but trying to win the lotto also provides its own form of fun and excitement.
