The online gaming operator 32Red has signed a new agreement with Film4 to sponsor the Late Night Film shot. Film4 is a dedicated digital film TV channel which is owned and operated by the UK’s Channel Four Television Corporation.
The agreement will see 32Red’s online casino brand sponsor both the 11pm and 1am film every night on Film4 for a year. The deal was reportedly worth a six-figure sum. Each week over 12 million people tune in to Film4 and the deal guarantees wide exposure for 32Red.
32Red will be making use of animated idents which include casino related imagery presented as a homage to the graphic designer and Academy Award winning filmmaker Saul Bass.
Bass is best known for his design of film title sequences, film posters and corporate logos.
The leader of partnerships at Channel 4, Rob Ramsley, said, “We are delighted to welcome 32Red on board as a sponsor of Channel 4. The ‘Late Night Film’ is very popular with our audience and we believe this partnership will be a great success.”
The head of marketing for 32Red, Mark Quayle, said, “We are thrilled to sponsor the Late Night Film on Film4. It was an obvious choice for us. It is the first of many major TV sponsorships for our flagship brand, 32Red Online Casino.”
