Multiple Lottery Millionaires
There have been a number of major lottery wins over the last week with several millionaires created.
A man from Dixon won $1 million thanks to a $3,000,000 Cash Jackpot lottery ticket. John Bates bought the winning ticket at a local shop and said, “I’ve been feeling really lucky lately and something told me to try this ticket. Last year I won $1,000 on a scratch ticket, and now this!” He plans to use the money to pay bills, invest and donate to a number of charities.
Meanwhile a retired couple from London, Canada has won $17.5 million in the Lotto 6/49. Melvin Knight and Audrey Gill went through the prize claiming process in Toronto last Tuesday. They had bought the ticket on Saturday night and discovered that they’d won on Sunday morning.
Finally, there were 5 winning tickets in the Pennsylvania Lottery Cash draw with a combined total prize money of over $1.3 million. Three of the tickets matched the winning Cash 5 numbers, each one of them is worth $440,667. However, lottery officials cannot give any more details until the prizes have been claimed and tickets validated.
