With the help of Playtech, one of the world’s leading designers, developers and licensors for software for casinos, Paddy Power has now launched a series of casino games for mobile. This launch represents the first large scale collaboration between Playtech and its recently acquired subsidiary Mobenga, the leading mobile sportsbook.
Playtech is the principal supplier of mobile betting and gaming applications and it is unique in its complete cross-platform solution. Thanks to the exceptional mobile betting channels and the cross-product opportunities, players now have a wide range of choices and no longer need to download multiple mobile applications.
In total nine casino games have been launched including multiple versions of roulette and blackjack as well as a variety of slots. They have also launched a video poker game which has a top prize of 800 times the initial bet. At present PaddyPower is running a special offer where first time mobile games receive a £5 free bet.
Another major advantage to this development is that players, regardless of which channel they initial chose, will now be able to access the full suite of Playtech products after downloading the application. More importantly for operators, Playtech provides a unique functionality which allows for cross-selling.
The Head of Mobile, Daniel Orkan, said that this launch is a milestone, nor just “in terms of merging Playtech and Mobenga’s expertise” but also for operators who now have access to more streams of revenue thanks to the cross-platform solution. Orkan went on to say that they expect the venture with Paddy Power “to be a great mutual success, setting the stage for future developments with Playtech’s mobile platform.”
In addition to the mobile casino application, Paddy Power also offers a betting application for all platforms which allows players to bet on the full range of their betting markets.
