Two of the leading internet casino industry players have joined forces this week. Cryptologic and 888 Holdings Plc have signed a three year licensing contract between that will see the merging of two world renowned services in an attempt to create the ultimate player experience.

Although the terms of the agreement were kept strictly confidential, it is known that 888 will integrate the internet casino games offered via Wagerlogic, the Cryptologic subsidiary. Casino on Net, the highly popular internet casino offered by 888, will benefit from the deal by adding exclusive Cryptologic games to its game suite. With major experience in integrating external games into their internet casino brand, this is considered one of the company’s winning strategies.

So far, 888 has chosen the following Cryptologic games to be included in the licensing contract: the progressive jackpots slots Millionaire’s Cub, Cubis, and Bejeweled. Yet Cryptologic boasts a wide range of internet casino games, such that more additions can be expected. The Canadian based internet casino software provider already operates a broad selection of poker sites and online casinos, however 888 is recognized as its greatest acquisition.

According to the President and Chief Executive of Cryptologic, Brian Hadfield, this “winning combination…is consistent with Cryptologic’s strategy to partner with the world’s biggest and best gaming brands as a way to offer the ultimate player experience.” The CEO of 888 confirmed that the move was in line with the company strategy to create “a game ecosystem”, and both companies have experienced a value rise in their shares since the announcement of the contract.
