New Austrian online Casino Uses Boss Media

Online casino software developer, Boss Media, has been officially chosen by Austrian online casino “?sterreichische Lotterien” and “Casinos Austria” to be their network provider for the joint new poker website, Win2Day.com.

The Boss media platform solution has been established in cooperation with SvenskaSpel.se, and is expected to go live along with the new online casino Win2Day.com, within the first quarter of 2008. Win2Day has recently become a highly successful e-gaming brand, and is considered by many to offer the most comprehensive online casino services in the entire European market of government controlled operators.

According to the two sites, the online casino poker room has been created in an attempt to take hold of the recent regional poker playing craze that has swept across Europe. According to Karl Stoss, General directors for Casinos Austria, “poker is still booming in Austria, and we had a 300 percent increase in poker playing guests from our offline poker games in 2007.

One of the primary goals of the online casino rooms will be to promote responsible gaming within a fair and secure gambling environment. One of the ways this will be achieved is by limiting all bets per player per week to slightly over $1,000. Stoss explained that “we hope to capture a substantial part of the Austrian online poker market with our responsible approach just as our colleagues at SvenskaSpel.se did when they launched with Boss Media in 2006.
