Free online casino provider, Betfair, has gladly announced that it will be the main sponsor of the 2nd ever World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) tournament. To be held from the 19th of September to the 1st of October in London, the WSOPE will take place at all London Clubs International venues, as well as Sportsman and The Casino at the Empire sites.
Seats to the exciting event are already being given away by Betfair's free online casino, each being worth a whopping $23,000. Seats to the final online tournament are currently worth $50,000, and the free online casino is expected to give away another on the 20th of April. Players can be eligible for the winning seats by qualifying via the site's daily satellites, which Betfair have set at a minimum of only $5.50. In addition, those unable to qualify will be able to play for a prize money jackpot of $4,000.
According to the Chief Executive Officer of Betfair free online casino, last year's tournament was so outstanding that it easily surpassed all expectations held by the company. Much of the event's success lies in the fact that Europe is home to some of the best up and coming poker players, many of which young go-getters looking to give the more recognized pros a run for their money, explained Commissioner of the WSOP, Jeffrey Pollack.
