The numbers indicate that 8.6 percent of the adults in the United Kingdom have participated in some form of online gambling activity. The figure last year was 7.4 - a clear increase. With the American market slowed down as a result of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act and the online casino industry focusing on Europe, the increase makes sense. The competition is hitting up and players enjoy better offers and promotions.
