Everybody knows that it will take some time before the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act is cancelled. However, a small step in that direction was taken recently with the joining of Oregon Congressman Earl Blumenauer to the supporters list of Barney Frank's pro online casino suggestion. Frank is behind a new bill titled the Internet Regulation and Enforcement Bill which hopes to bring back the online gambling industry to American and to regulate and tax it. Profits from the taxation scheme will be used to benefit the community and regulation will make sure that Americans enjoy safe virtual casino gaming.

Congressman Blumenauer will be the 41th American politician to register his support for the bill. Although it's still a long way to go, fans of online gambling should be pleased. The list of supporters just keeps getting longer and longer. So far, the list includes: Neil Abercrombie, Gary Ackerman, Joe Baca, Shelley Berkley, Howard Berman, Earl Blumenauer, Michael Capuano, Russ Carnahan, Julia Carson, William lacy Clay, Steve Cohen, Joseph Crowley, William Delahunt, Bob Filner, Vito Fossella, Raul Grijalva, Luis Gutierrez, Alcee Hastings, Michael Honda, Steve Israel, Peter King, Carolyn McCarthy, Jim McDermott, James McGovern, Charlie Melancon, James Moran, Ron Paul, Ed Perlmutter, Ciro Rodriguez, Steven Rothman, Linda Sanchez, Adam Schiff, Robert Scott, Bennie Thompson, Edolphus Towns, Melvin Watt, Anthony Weiner, Robert Wexler, Lynn Woolsey, Albert Wynn and Don Young.

If you're representatives isn't on the above list, this is the time to connect them! You have a chance to influence as every name on the list matters. When sufficient support is gathered, the bill will become an undeniable evidence for fact that American want to play casinos games at online casinos and that they want to do so freely and safely. Online gambling is not gone forever from the American market, and there's still hope for change.
