Barney Frank's proposal in favor of the online casino industry has managed to draft yet another sponsor. Although the proposed regulations for the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act took most of the spotlights this week, The Internet Gambling Regulation and Enforcement Act had a pretty busy week as well. Congressman Raul M. Grijalva joined Frank's effort to overturn the current ban over online gambling in American and establish a regulation and taxation scheme for the industry. Congressman Grijalva becomes the 38th sponsor of the bill with hopefully many more to come.

If you are a United States' resident, then you can help out. Contact your representative in Congress and express your feelings regarding the ban over online casino gambling, demonstrate your passion for online gambling and emphasize the potential and prospects of Frank's regulation and taxation scheme. We need more support if we want to bring online casino gambling back to the American market. 38 Congressmen is not a number to be lightheaded about; however, it is also not a number that can bring immediate change. As additional Congressmen sign up, the chances of overthrowing the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement become higher.

Think of what you would like to say to your Congressman and use a polite and friendly tone. You would want the Congressman to take you seriously and hear you out. Calling your representatives on the phone or reaching them via email is the best way to go at this important assignment. American politicians must realize that they are not representing the American public when they allow the current ban over online casino operation to continue. New legislation must be taken under consideration and ways of allowing firms to operate freely must be established.
