London-listed Party Gaming has signed a new deal with German media group RTL to bring you a new poker information site. The site will use the RTLpoker domain name and operate under the main RTL website. The new deal means that Party Gaming will be able to enjoy many different kinds of cross-marketing possibilities as more than six millions of people visit the RTL site each month. Poker fans will be happy to learn that the new information site will feature links and information dealing with Party Poker, the online gambling firm's highly popular poker platform.

RTL will also promote the company's poker product by airing special TV spots. The online casino industry has always kept a tight connection with the entertainment industry. RTL is a leading German television channel with millions of viewers. Under the agreement, RTL will get a professional gambling company to produce a Poker School TV spot for its viewers, and Party Gaming will have a great way of promoting its products. "We are thrilled to have been chosen by RTL Interactive to provide an online poker school to their users, said Party's CEO Mitch Garber. "This is a hugely exciting opportunity for us to work with the German internet division of Europe's leading broadcaster."

As online gambling grows in popularity amongst European players, it's important for online casino firms to mix with the local entertainment industry. Hopefully, this wonderful cooperation between the media group and the online casino firm won't be the last one we see. There are plenty of large gambling groups operating in Europe and there's no reason why other deal with elements in the entertainment industry won't be made. After all, it's a win-win situation. TV viewers enjoy new and exciting content, and online gambling firms enjoy an effective promotional tool.
