Online Casino sites are available pretty much everywhere in the world, as all you need is an Internet connection. However, the figures show that up until now the online casino industry has been dominated by mainly by English speakers, most of them from the US. According to a recent report, that may change in the near future, as revenues from non-US operations in the online gambling world are increasing every year, and have already increased by 20 percent over the last three months.

The latest US anti-online casino bill, also known as the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act, may have been a trigger for the globalization of the industry, but it seems that the process had already started before. Due to the ban, some online gambling companies have closed their operations with US gamblers, and they are looking now for new places to reopen their businesses. Although at first it was thought that those companies will be damaged by the move, it seems that exactly the opposite has happened, as online casino sites all over the world are showing a clear growth pattern.

As other online casino companies will change their strategies and follow those who have already moved, we may see more and more non-US sites and players. According to that same research, there are right now over 3.4 million non-US members in online gambling sites, a rise of 40% since the same time last year. It's obvious that the world is going through a globalization process in the last years, and it seems now that the online casino industry is closely following.
