According to online casino analysts, publicly listed firm Leisure and Gaming is due to join the Microgaming technology network in late July. The group includes popular gaming brands such as Nine, English Harbour and Acropolis, and will be adding a new online casinos poker site named Stanley VIP poker to the Microgaming poker network. Previously known as Prima Poker, the online casino technology network is one of the most successful on the internet today.

The news was first reported by eGaming Review, which opined that Leisure and Gaming's decision to join Microgaming's network is a sensible one given that the majority of its VIP online casino technology customers are based in the U.S. Similarly, Acropolis, which was purchased by Leisure and Gaming in 2005, will bring its majority of UK online casino players to the network. Yet another advantage the deal brings is the offline promotional opportunities made available. The brand Stanley can be found at approximately 40 land-based casinos in the UK and is well known and highly visible. Stanley also has an estimated 1.4 million online casino technology fans registered on its database, which Leisure and Gaming will gain access to shortly after the new site is launched.

Leisure and Gaming is just one British online casino technology firm set to reap the benefits of the United Kingdom's decision to regulate online casino gaming. The firm is reportedly keen to set up full time premises in the country and has spoken out positively on the subject of taxation.
