    A new show on the tube for poker fans everywhere is 'Poker After Dark', an education television show filled with the best in poker entertainment for American online casino and land-based poker enthusiasts. Early in the New Year, NBC will debuts the show in an exclusive visit to the Las Vegas poker scene that will begin on January 2nd, 2007 at 2:05 AM ET/PT. Online casino and regular poker lovers will be able to watch this show without the usual distractions of daily life to concentrate and learn the tricks of the trade. This way, they can later bring it to the tables at the online casinos or at their next poker game at home.

    'There's a vibrant late night audience looking for original programming. We felt this inside look at the professional poker scene is perfect for late night television and those viewers seeking a unique and original broadcast,' said the President of NBC Universal Television, West Coast, Marc Graboff. The nightly hour-long show, hosted by Shana Hiatt, one of poker's most recognizable faces among online casino and land-based enthusiasts, will air Monday through Saturday and features six poker professionals going head-to-head for a winner-take-all US120, 000 dollar first place prize. Regular and online casino players will experience and enjoy both entertainment and excitement from this program.

    Hosted by Hiatt, each night of original programming will feature a deeper look at one table as it develops over the week, culminating with a winner on Friday night. Online casino and land-based poker fans will, in Saturday night's show, 'the director's cut', recap the week's events with Hiatt and that week's winner. The show will offer commentary and insight into their winning strategy, information that is useful to all - both at the online casino and at the traditional brick-and-mortar casino.

    Set in the back room of various casinos on the Vegas strip, 'Poker After Dark' gives online casino and regular viewers an intimate look inside a poker game usually reserved for the eyes of the professional poker players themselves. The show will feature entertainment as the world's top pros, including names such as Doyle Brunson, Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, Doyle Brunson, Chris Ferguson, Howard Lederer, Jennifer Harman, Gus Hansen, and Erick Lindgren are seen battling it out for a whopping US 120,000 dollars! So if you love playing poker at the online casino or you enjoy a weekly game of it among friends, this is the show for you!
