According to 3rd quarter figures, 888 Online Casino has managed to double its number of registered members in comparison to the same period last year. The online casino has shown a whopping 118% growth in the number of registered players amounting to 316,553 new players. With more registered members playing at their online casino, 888 was also able to show a 56% increase in 3rd quarter revenues, accumulating to $70 million. So far numbers for the 4th quarter also look promising for the online casino company, further solidifying itself as of the premier online casinos on the market. 888's success also provides a boost for the online casino business as a whole.

John Anderson, chief executive of the online casino company says, "Our performance for this three-month period has been particularly pleasing given that, historically, trading for the online casino segment in July and August is the weakest for the year". Anderson also comments on his projections for the 4th quarter saying, "The results for October are encouraging and the online casino business continues to perform in line with our expectations in both poker and online casino games. We are confident that the 888 Online Casino business model is strongly positioned to take advantage of the continued growth in the worldwide online casino market".

The growth in the number of players has affected all areas of operation for the online casino. For example, the amount of people that played poker at the online casino between the months of July and September of this year has increased by 143% in comparison to the same time last year. With 228,252 more people playing poker, poker rake revenues have jumped by 178% to $29.5 million.
